Giella Custom Blend Cosmetics has added eye, lip, brow and concealer pencils to their popular portfolio of custom makeup.

  1. Visit the Giella Custom Blend Cosmetics counter at Henri Bendel’s in New York or select locations in Baltimore, Louisiana or Philadelphia.
  2. After selecting the desired shade, customers can opt to add matte or sexy shimmer in gold, silver, copper or bronze. Skin conditioners can also be added.
  3. A special molding machine, designed by Giella, is used to fill the pencil barrels with all natural ingredients, including a vegetable based emollient.

Makeup Coverage and Color

The Giella custom lip pencil offers versatile coverage and can go on sheer for a hint-of color or rich and creamy for a more dramatic look. To keep lips soft and supple, conditioners and soy butter can be added. Unruly brows are easily tamed with Giella’s smudge proof pencil that can be color-matched to the customer’s hair. For precise application of the eye pencil, Giella advises holding the pencil on the side, not the point, to get a thin line and then making short strokes that go into the lashes.

According to Giella, the Deep Brown pencil is best for blue and green eyes, Sage for hazel and green eyes, Fig for blue or green eyes, Jet for brown and deep blue eyes, Cocoa for lighter blue or green eyes, and Midnight Sky for hazel, brown and blue eyes.

In addition to the new pencils, Giella Custom Blend Cosmetics offers custom lipsticks, glosses, powders, and other makeup staples. They can also color match discontinued products.
